Pori Moni, the most popular and successful actress in BD Film Industry, born on 24 Oct 1992 as a nick name Samsun Nahar at Kalai, Narail. She has complited her S.S.C & H.S.C from Pirozpur district where she lived from at the age of 3 after her mother's died. Mr. Shamim Afzal, DG of Islamic Foundation, her father who does not disclose her identity because of his reputation and the fear of losing job.
After passing H.S.C in 2012 she started her career with modelling.She also acted some TV drama series but she is popular in Film industry.Her 1st movie "BALOBASA SIMAHEEN" was released 13 Feb 2015.Her 1st short flim "RANA PLAZA" with Symon Sadik directed by Nazrul Islam Khan , was postponed by the sensor board. She also contribute as a Co-producer in "MOHUA SUNDARI", a Govt. funded movie , directed by RawshanAra Nipa. A number of movie are awaiting to release those she acted in the last of 2014 1nd 2015.
